This is Principal McNeill, with this week's announcements.

First I would like to thank all of our parents for supporting our efforts in the mornings with carline. Your cooperation allows us to get our children into the building on time, and thus allows them an opportunity to eat breakfast and have a positive start to their day. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, as our car line is no longer backed up into the roadway... children are exiting quickly and we are unloading a minimum of 12 to 15 cars at a time. Our car lane wait has been drastically reduced, and it is all thanks to you! Thank you for listening and for responding. Together we are making this happen!

In the same spirit, we are reminding parents that students must be picked up no later than 3:00 pm, as there are no staff available to supervise late students. We are experiencing an uptick in late pick ups and are asking for your attention to this matter should it apply. 

Regarding transportation, we ask that students have one consistent way home, with little changes in that transportation plan. Outside of an emergency students should go home the same way each day. Thank you in advance for helping us to keep students safe and eliminating last minute stress and confusion at the end of the day.  

Again, we are a team and we will continue to work together to create a safe and calm environment for our children. We could not do any of this without you, the parents and we appreciate you. 

We are five weeks in and our teachers and students, kindergarten through 8th grade continue to do amazing things with our new curriculum. Please take a moment to talk with your child about their instruction, it is so inspiring to watch them develop and push themselves. We are showing our GRIT! 

Please take every opportunity to thank and encourage your child's teachers. The amount of hard work and dedication they are giving each and every day is humbling. Please remember to encourage them.
