Birthday celebrations are an important milestone in elementary school. Therefore in an effort to protect instructional time, these celebrations will be scheduled during lunch or recess at the discretion of the teacher. Birthday cupcakes etc. must be store bought and may be dropped off at the front office.

Softball tryouts will be August 21st and 22nd.  Please have a current physical on file in order to try out.  An interest letter and physical paper was sent home with all 6th graders interested.  7th and 8th graders will be given the expiration date of their physical on file with a letter as well.  

Cheerleading tryouts will begin August 15 and will be held the 15th, 16th, and 17th. Those trying out must be on site on the 15th to learn the cheers and the 17th to perform the cheers, however all three days are preferred.  Students are required to have a current physical prior to trying out.  No exceptions can be made for this. Tryouts will be held from 3:05 to 4:30.  Parents are asked to pick up those trying out in front of the school building promptly at 4:30.
