Hello Penderlea Families!
Remember that we are continuing to register Kindergartners, please spread the word this registration is important so that we can plan for staff and resources needed for the coming school year. If you are registered but your child has not been screened, a teacher will contact you soon to set up an appointment.
Thursday, May 4th will be our Kindergarten Spring Performance Night in conjunction with our rising Kindergarten transition night! Our current Kindergarteners will perform and answer questions for those who will be joining the Hornet family as Kindergarteners in July! This performance will begin at 5:30.
Sports News - On Monday, our volleyball team will travel to West Pender. On Wednesday, our volleyball team will travel the Campbell Center in Wallace to compete against Penderlea Christian Academy. To finish out the week, our volleyball and baseball team will host Cape Fear on Thursday. Game times are 4:00 and admission will be $5.00 for school aged children and older at all
Looking ahead, May 3rd will be an early release so please plan accordingly.
Penderlea Transition Night - May 11, 2023 from 4:00 - 5:30. We are having it early because we realize that many of our students are involved in recreation sports but we would still love for you to attend this event.
8th grade formal will be this Saturday from 6-8 pm. We are looking forward to a wonderful evening.
May 18th we will hold our End of year banquet for our athletes from 5:00 to 7:00.
