Flyer Distribution Guidelines
Pender County Schools occasionally permits the distribution of flyers by community and/or governmental organizations. Only flyers promoting activities aligned with the educational objectives of the district will be considered for approval.
Flyer distribution adheres to two Board Policies:
1. Policy 5210 - Distribution of Information/Materials
2. Policy 5240 - Advertising in Schools
To request flyer distribution to students, families, or staff of Pender County Schools, please adhere to the following procedure:
1. Ensure your flyer includes the required School Board disclaimer: "This information/publication does not represent the views of Pender County Schools nor does it constitute or imply endorsement, recommendation, or favoring by Pender County Schools."
2. Submit an electronic version of the flyer by completing this Google Form for consideration via the Communications Department.
Upon approval by the Communications Department, printed flyers may be delivered according to the agreed upon delivery date and time.
Please note:
Pender County Schools does not handle the printing of flyers.
Electronic distribution (email, website, social media) of flyers to students or families by Pender County Schools is not conducted.
Obtain approval from the Communications Department before delivering flyers to schools.
Flyer distribution is suspended during standardized testing periods.
