The NTE Kindergarten’s “Hearts Around the World” project has been a big success! We have received many cards from the United States, Poland, Norway and Africa! One of the deliveries from Africa came from a Primary School in Uganda. Inside the package were about 40 handwritten notes from the children! We will be working together to send a package back to them! Thank you to everyone that has supported this project! #onepender

We had the privilege this morning to honor Mrs. Brittany Hoffman as the Beginning Teacher of Promise for North Topsail! 🐬
Mrs. Hoffman will be recognized at the Teacher of the Year Banquet in May. She will also go through the process for Beginning Teacher of the Year for Pender County Schools. All 19 schools' have chosen one first year teacher as their BT of Promise and each BT will submit various essays and contributions to be considered as our PCS BT of the Year, which will be named in May at the Teacher of the Year Banquet. The first year teacher that gets this recognition for PCS will move onto the State Level process to be considered for the NCCAT North Carolina Beginning Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Hoffman, we are so proud of you and so appreciative of your compassion, your dedication and the kindness you spread at NTE!
