Special Titan Shoutout to several of our Heide Trask High School students!
Yesterday, several HTHS students earned Electrical Helper and OSHA 10 credentials through our Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship course—gaining real-world skills that power up their futures!
In our Animal Science class, students earned their Canine Basic Care and Handling credentials, showcasing their commitment to animal care and professionalism in the field.

The 2025 Senior Walk is ONE day away! Students must wear their cap and gown to participate! We will be visiting WPMS, C.F. Pope, RPES, BMS, CFE, and CFMS. We will meet outside the cafeteria (under the hut area) at 8:30am. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Dennis.

Congratulations are in order for another member of Titan Town! Let's celebrate Ms. Alicia Watkins for her recent recognition of being named the Pender County Schools Beginning Teacher of the Month (May)!
According to county leaders, Ms. Watkins was chosen for this recognition because she "has such a positive energy in the school and classroom. She has worked extremely hard to build relationships with her students. She has developed an amazing program where students are partnered with Rocky Point Elementary to conduct class visits and tutoring. She makes her physical class environment warm and welcoming, and she always has high expectations for all students and truly believes they can (AND WILL) succeed academically and behaviorally."

Last night, HTHS hosted the annual Pender County Schools Awards program. We would like to congratulate all of the school-level winners/district nominees, especially Ms. Allyson Smith (HTHS band teacher) and Mr. Zachary Rudisin (HTHS history teacher). You both represented Titan town exceedingly well, and we are so very proud of you!

What a great first day of Advanced Placement testing, Titans! Tomorrow, our HTHS library will be closed the entire day due to testing. AP Human Geography students should arrive for their exam by 7:30am. AP US Government students should arrive for their exam by 11:45am.
Students scheduled to take the AP Biology exam tomorrow should report to the HTHS library by 7:30am.

Sad that senior week is coming to a close? Well, don't be! Next Thursday, our seniors will participate in the senior walk & on May 29, they'll take the biggest walk of their lives so far--across the HTHS graduation stage! The fun is just getting started, Titans!
