We will spend the rest of the week highlighting bus drivers and monitors. Today’s first feature will highlight the tri-pact team of Mrs. Tara Lumpkins, Mrs. Kisha Bannerman, and Mrs. Kia Beady.
Mrs. Tara Lumpkins is in her second year as a bus driver for Pender County Schools after driving for three years for Franklin County Schools. Prior to becoming a bus driver, Mrs. Lumpkins was in restaurant management. A mother of three, Mrs. Lumpkins’s philosophy is that educators and bus drivers should try to treat each of their kids as if they were their own. Mrs. Lumpkins has enjoyed her time thus far working for Pender County Schools and she credits that to her teammates and bus monitors, Mrs. Kisha Bannerman and Mrs. Kia Beady.
Mrs. Bannerman has been with Pender County Schools for 17 years and has served as both an exceptional children’s teacher assistant and bus monitor.
Mrs. Beady just started with Pender County Schools after previously serving in the healthcare profession.
All three of these ladies work really well together and are all assets to Heide Trask High School and Pender County Schools. We are grateful for all you do for Trask County.
If you ride Mrs. Lumpkins's bus, please take time to write her, as well as Mrs. Bannerman and Mrs. Beady, a letter thanking them for all that they do for you on a daily basis.
Please check back later today for more bus driver appreciation highlights.
