The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test helps predict a student's future academic and occupational success in the military. The next ASVAB test will be offered on February 10, 2025 in the HTHS library. Contact Ms. Davis for more information.
Did you know that there are "snow" many programs available to help students pay for college? Join us on Feb. 6 to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) & find out if you're eligible to receive financial aid for your college endeavors.
Are you interested in taking CFCC courses? An informational session for students and families will be held on Wednesday, January 29th, at 5:30 PM in the HTHS Media Center. This session is designed for students who are new to enrolling in CFCC courses.

✅ Tuesday, January 21: Early release for students. All after-school activities, including PACES and athletics, are canceled.
✅ Wednesday, January 22: Schools will operate on a two-hour delay at minimum.
We will provide an update on Tuesday if further changes, including remote learning, are necessary.

Due to the forecasted winter weather, Pender County Schools will move to an early release schedule on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

We hope that everyone had a great opening week of the second semester. Just a reminder that there will be no school next Monday January 20, 2025 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
This is a reminder to students that we will be conducting a mid-year student headcount beginning on Monday, January 13th and will do so for ten consecutive days. In order to execute the headcount, we'll utilize our Mini-Homeroom bell schedule. Please reach out to our student services department if you have any concerns regarding attendance.
Report cards were distributed to students last Thursday January 9, 2025. If you have any concerns or questions regarding grades please contact the classroom teacher.
