Hello Panther Families!

We are excited to see our students tomorrow at C. F. Pope Elementary School. Bus 213 will pick up students who ride bus 213 and 219 30 minutes early tomorrow morning. Bus 238 will pick up students on highway 53 around 6:15 and those in the Bally Bunnion area at 7:05. Masks are mandatory on the school bus as state law. Please continue to make sure students attend on time each day. If/when students are absent, please send a note to the teacher indicating the reason for the absence, the dates they were absent, and a parent signature. Please remember, if anyone in your household has a COVID symptom and/or awaiting COVID test results, they should stay home and contact the school nurse at school before students return to school. PCS schools nurses will follow the NC Strong Schools Toolkit in terms of exclusion from school. Decisions of isolation and quarantine dates will continue to be made by the health department.  COVID-19 testing is available at school now.  Go to the Pender County Schools website, click COVID-19 at the top and then register your student by clicking on C F Pope student. You can also use this link to sign up for future use of this service or use the link on the PCS website.
