Pender County Schools is asking for your input in a survey regarding our school calendars. Your opinions and feedback are important to us as we strive to provide the best possible educational experience for our students. The survey will consist of questions that gauge your preferences and opinions on the pros and cons of each calendar option. Your participation in this survey will help us make a better decision about the implementation of a new school calendar. The survey will be available online and will take less than five minutes to complete. We would appreciate it if you could take the time to participate in the survey by Sunday, February 5, at Midnight.

On Thursday March 2nd, our 8th graders will be taking a field trip to Ft. Fisher. We are in need of some chaperones to help with coverage. Please contact us if you are interested in helping.
Our 8th graders will be visiting Heide Trask HS on Wednesday morning, February 8th. Heide Trask will also be hosting a parent/student night from 5:00pm-6:30pm on February 8th. This will be an opportunity for students and parents to speak with elective teachers regarding registration for next year. This is not freshman orientation, but rather an elective fair for registration and informational purposes.
February 8th will be an early release day. We will be releasing students at 11:30.
Our student attendance rate is currently at 93%.
