We are seeing a high rate of student absences and tardies.  We want to stress the importance of student attendance and the impact it has on learning.  Attendance and tardies have a significant impact on learning.  We are asking that students are present and on time.  Classes start at 7:25 and we need students in their classrooms at that time to start our day.  We want the opportunity to teach every child every minute of the day.  Thank you for your help with this.

February is CTE Month and we will have some engaging activities for your students to participate in this year. The most engaging and best opportunity is an experiential learning activity in the form of a job shadowing experience. This Job Shadow day link gives more information on how our students can get involved with Job Shadow Day.

Students completed four-year plans in 8th grade social studies classes this month.  They used Major Clarity to draft their potential core and elective classes in order to get ready for actual 9th grade registration which will take place in the coming weeks.

Our first basketball games are this Monday starting at 4:00.  Come on out and support our cheerleaders and players.  Basketball schedule
