We are excited to announce an Agenda Cover Art contest. We are accepting submissions for the cover of our 2022-2023 student agendas. All entries are due by April 25th on 8.5 x 11 paper. The winner will be announced on April 29th.
Our baseball and volleyball teams play at home on Monday versus Surf City and at home on Thursday versus Penderlea.
On April 28th, we are hosting a Transition Night for our rising 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and parents. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about expectations and the vision we have for the 2022-2023 school year. The event will take place from 5-7 pm.
On May 2nd, our 6th, 7th and 8th grade band students will perform a concert in the CFMS gym at 6 pm. After missing almost two years of traditional band concerts, our students are excited to finally play for their parents.
Parents, we are looking for volunteers to help proctor our EOG’s. Testing dates are May 10th, May 12th, and May 17th Helping us proctor our exams will make our testing environment run smoothly. If you are interested, please email Mrs. Manor at jamie_manor@pender.k12.nc.us or call 910-602-3334.
A reminder that the reassignment request link is open for families that attend Cape Fear Middle School that live outside of our districted lines until May 1st. Free Sports Physicals will take place at Heide Trask HS on April 26th from 5-7pm. Please make sure to fill out the history portion before arriving.
Parents, we ask that our students charge their chromebooks every night and also to please check for borrowed chargers and chromebooks. We are completely out and need help locating these items.
Finally, this is a reminder that if your child arrives after 8 am, to please come in and check your child in at the front office.
