Check in/Check out information
Parents, we ask that if you are checking in/out a student at CFM or CFE, to please exit that building and enter the other school’s front door to check in/out any additional siblings. If you are checking out your student, please do so before 2pm. Friendly Reminder: If you are dropping your student off after 8:00 a.m. you need to come in and sign your student in; you will be called back to sign them in if you don’t come in.
Attention all 8th-graders - Heide Trask High School will host an information meeting regarding the College Accelerated Program (CAP) for interested students in 8th grade on October 2nd @ 6:00 pm in the Media Center. The College Accelerated Program (CAP) is a partnership between Pender County Schools and Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) that allows students to earn a high school diploma and college credits at the same time. CAP students will begin earning college credits at CFCC in the fall of their junior year. The program is intended to help students earn their diploma and an associate degree in four years.
To learn more about the CAP program, please plan on joining Pender County Schools and CFCC staff at this information session on October 2nd @ 6:00 pm.

School Pictures - A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be here on 10/14/2024 to photograph students for fall pictures. Included below is a link that will allow parents to sign up to receive updates via email regarding their child's school portraits. These updates include promotions, additional deals and the ability to order more pictures at a later time.
