As the 2024-2025 school year is in full swing, Pender County Schools reminds families to ensure their child's immunizations are up-to-date in accordance with North Carolina state regulations. Curriculum Night
We want to invite everyone to our Title 1 Curriculum Night on September 26th from 5:00pm-6:30 pm. You will have a chance to hear an update from Mr. Simmons about Cape Fear MS, and the growth the school is making. Progress Reports will be available during this event. Also, our teachers will be sharing about upcoming units of study, so parents and guardians can get an idea of future activities that will be taking place in the classroom.
Science Olympiad - If your child is interested in Science Olympiad, please complete this google form, Science Olympiad Interest Form. We are also looking for parent volunteers.

Fall Family Survey- Cape Fear Middle School is a wonderful place to work and serve our community, which is of the utmost importance to us. Mobile Dental Clinic
The Mobile Dental clinic will be on campus from August 26th through September 19th. The clinic provides dental services to children during school and after school hours. Dental services are also available for school staff, parents and all members of the community. If you have dental insurance, they can file it. Also, they can check to see if your student qualifies for Medicaid or the Sliding Fee Scale. If you have any questions, please call 910-471-3250. Pender County Health Department Mobile Dental Clinic.

Check in/Check out information
Parents, we ask that if you are checking in/out a student at CFM or CFE, to please exit that building and enter the other school’s front door to check in/out any additional siblings. If you are checking out your student, please do so before 2pm. Friendly Reminder: If you are dropping your student off after 8:00 a.m. you need to come in and sign your student in; you will be called back to sign them in if you don’t come in. If you are changing your child’s afternoon planned transportation, please contact us by 11a.m.
Sports Pictures
A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be here on 9/25/2024, 9/26/2024 to photograph our sports pictures.Included below is a link that will allow parents to sign up to receive updates via email regarding their child's school portraits. These updates include promotions, additional deals and the ability to order more pictures at a later time. CFMS PTO
The CFMS PTO is offering family football and cheer shirts so that families can support their favorite players. If you would like to order one for yourself or a family member please return this order form with payment (cash or digital options below) to your child’s HR teacher by September 20th, 2024. The profits from these shirts will help offset the cost of the team shirts as well as support the PTO in all they do for the students and staff at CFMS. CHEER/FOOTBALL Family Order Form
