Our Color Run Fundraiser has gotten off to a great start. Please check out this flier, Color Run Fundraiser, to see all of the ways your money can help Cape Fear MS. The color run will be on March 28th. We have more links below explaining how to register, involve family and friends and answer some questions you may have. If we get rained out, we will move the event to Friday, April 5th. We are grateful for our Cape Fear Middle School families and look forward to this exciting event with our students! Go Grizzlies!
The class with the most registrations this weekend will get a trip to the concession stand Monday for a drink and snacks.
The top 2 students with the most donations this weekend will win Chick-fil-a gift cards.
The top earner for the fundraiser will win a $100 gift card, second place will win a $75 gift card and third place will win a $50 gift card.

Free, overnight summer camp for rising 9th graders interested in healthcare careers: iHEAL exposes campers to healthcare opportunities and careers through interactive healthcare simulations and is made possible by Novant Health and UNC School of Medicine. An interest meeting for students will be held in the media center on Monday 3/25 during lunch and recess time.

After-school tutoring will be available for students every week. Snacks will be provided for our students. If you are interested in having your student attend you must complete the form below. Tutoring will run from 2:30 until 4:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students will need to be picked up by 4:30 pm each day. After School Tutoring Form
In an effort to accommodate the educational preferences of families in the Pender County School District, officials have opened the reassignment request period for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. Parents who wish to enroll their students in a Pender County School outside of their designated zone, with the exception of Pender Early College and Pender Innovative Learning Academy, are encouraged to participate in the application process.
The application period opened on February 1, 2024, providing parents ample time to explore alternative educational options for their children. The deadline for submitting reassignment requests is set for March 31, 2024.
The district has established a user-friendly online platform where parents can conveniently submit their reassignment requests. The link, along with links to the help guides are below.

Free sports physicals will take place at Heide Trask HS on May 14th, 3:45pm-6pm. This is an excellent opportunity to be ready for athletics both here at CFMS and HTHS.
