We wanted to let you know about the Grizzlies Color Run Fundraiser that is kicking off on March 18th! Our goal is to raise $15,000 to support our students, staff and community all while enhancing the Cape Fear middle school experience. Please check out this flier, Color Run Fundraiser, to see all of the ways your money can help Cape Fear MS. The color run will be on March 28th. We have more links below explaining how to register, involve family and friends and answer some questions you may have. The website is up and running so feel free to begin fundraising this weekend. March 21st is a teacher workday and no school for students.
After-school tutoring will be available for students every week. Snacks will be provided for our students. If you are interested in having your student attend you must complete the form below. Tutoring will run from 2:30 until 4:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students will need to be picked up by 4:30 pm each day. After School Tutoring Form
In an effort to accommodate the educational preferences of families in the Pender County School District, officials have opened the reassignment request period for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. Parents who wish to enroll their students in a Pender County School outside of their designated zone, with the exception of Pender Early College and Pender Innovative Learning Academy, are encouraged to participate in the application process.
The application period opened on February 1, 2024, providing parents ample time to explore alternative educational options for their children. The deadline for submitting reassignment requests is set for March 31, 2024.
The district has established a user-friendly online platform where parents can conveniently submit their reassignment requests. The link, along with links to the help guides are below.
