Week of February 3rd-7th
Good evening Cub families, this is Principal Smith with your Sunday reminders and updates.
Thank you to all the parents who came out Thursday evening to meet me. If you were unable to attend, I am attaching a link to the presentation that I presented. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me. Again, I am excited to be here and thank you for such a warm welcome.
Class Picture Day, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 11th.
Students in grades 3-5 will take the Reading Check-In on Tuesday, February 4th. Progress reports will also be distributed on that day.
Our 4th grade students will take a field trip on Wednesday, February 5 to the symphony.
Thursday, February 6th is the 100th day of school. Let's celebrate 100 days of hard work and growth by having a little 100 inspired fun! Here are some fun things to think about: wear clothing with 100 things on it, bring in a project of 100 things, dress like you are 100, etc.
Battle of the Books competition will be held at Rocky Point Elementary on Friday, February 7th.
Our 1st graders will go to Scooter's Family Skating Center on Friday, February 7th.
This is a reminder if you need to change your child’s transportation arrangements, please send a note to your child’s teacher. If a change must be made by phone, please contact us by 2:00 pm. Additionally, there are no checkouts after 2:00pm. When signing your child out, please remain inside the office.
Mark your calendar for Friday, February 14th - this is an Optional Teacher Workday and No school for students.
