Good evening, Cub Family. This is Dr. Oates with your Sunday reminders and updates.
We were thrilled by the turnout at our Open House and delighted to see so many smiling faces. As we gear up for the new school year, our first day of school is Monday, August 26th. Please ensure your child is present and on time; the tardy bell rings at 7:20 a.m. If you arrive late, please park and accompany your child into the school to check them in.
For parents using the carline, please follow the designated drop-off route at the rear of the school. Drop-off begins at 7:00 a.m. It’s important that your child remains in the car until this time, and we ask that they refrain from exiting the vehicle. Our staff will be on hand to assist. If your child needs help exiting the car, please park and assist them. For the afternoon pick-up, if you need to adjust your child’s seat belt or seating arrangement, kindly pull aside to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
Kindergarten parents ONLY may walk thier child to their classroom during the first week of school. Please park in a designated space or the grass area at the front of the school, but avoid parking in the office parking spots. Starting the second week, all parents are asked to follow the regular drop-off procedures using the carline.
We are pleased to announce that the Pender Mobile Dental Clinic will be on campus beginning August 26th through September 19th offering routine and basic dental treatments to all interested students, parents, and staff. If you wish to take advantage of these convenient, quality dental services, please complete the form sent home with your child and return it to their teacher.
Lastly, please note that there is no school for students on Monday, September 2nd, in observance of Labor Day.
