Week of May 22nd-26th
Good evening Cub family. This is Dr.Oates with your Sunday reminders and updates.
Parents of 3rd through 4th grade students will bring home Reading and Math EOG testing information on Monday. It will only display whether they were proficient or not proficient. Some students will also bring home information about remediation and summer learning. Please be sure to review this information to see if your child has been selected to participate and return the form as soon as possible.
Fifth grade students will take the Science EOG on Tuesday, May 23rd. Their testing information will come home on Wednesday or Thursday. Certain identified 3rd graders will also take the Read to Achieve test on Tuesday. Make-up testing will be this week as well. Individual Student Testing Reports will be sent home once the scores are verified and certified by the state.
We are so proud of all of our students. It is important that they are here for testing. They have worked hard this year and we are excited about all the growth they will show. For their hard work this year we plan to have our Growth Day on Thursday, May 25th.
Extra yearbooks are on sale for $25 until they are gone. It will be first come, first serve and we are only taking cash payments.
Our end of the year PTO meeting will be held on Monday, May 22nd at 6:00pm in the media center.
Our 5th grade promotion ceremony will be Friday, May 26th at 8:30 am. Lastly, please be reminded that Friday, May 26th is our last day of school.

Buenas noches familia Cub. Este es Dr.Oates con sus recordatorios y actualizaciones de los domingos.
Los padres de estudiantes de 3.° a 4.° grado llevarán a casa información sobre las pruebas EOG de Lectura y Matemáticas el lunes. Solo mostrará si eran competentes o no competentes. Algunos estudiantes también traerán a casa información sobre recuperación y aprendizaje de verano. Asegúrese de revisar esta información para ver si su hijo ha sido seleccionado para participar y devuelva el formulario lo antes posible.
Los estudiantes de quinto grado tomarán el EOG de Ciencias el martes 23 de mayo. La información de sus pruebas llegará a casa el miércoles o el jueves. Ciertos estudiantes de 3er grado identificados también tomarán la prueba Read to Achieve el martes. Las pruebas de recuperación también serán esta semana. Los informes individuales de las pruebas de los estudiantes se enviarán a casa una vez que el estado verifique y certifique los puntajes.
Estamos muy orgullosos de todos nuestros estudiantes. Es importante que estén aquí para la prueba. Han trabajado duro este año y estamos entusiasmados con todo el crecimiento que mostrarán. Por su arduo trabajo este año planeamos tener nuestro Día de Crecimiento el jueves 25 de mayo.
Los anuarios adicionales están a la venta por $25 hasta que se agoten. Será por orden de llegada y solo aceptamos pagos en efectivo.
Nuestra reunión de PTO de fin de año se llevará a cabo el lunes 22 de mayo a las 6:00 p. m. en el centro de medios.
Nuestra ceremonia de promoción de 5to grado será el viernes 26 de mayo a las 8:30 am.
Por último, recuerde que el viernes 26 de mayo es nuestro último día de clases.
