Good evening Cub family. This is Dr.Oates with your Sunday reminders and updates.
We are happy to announce our EOG Prep/Transition and Bingo Night will be held on Thursday, April 27th from 5:30-7:30 pm. Hope to see you there.
Parents of all 5th graders, Cape Fear Middle School will have their 6th grade transition night on Thursday, May 4th.
Parents school opens at 7:00 am. Please do not drop your child off any earlier. The drop off area is at the back of the school. Please do not park in the front to drop off your child. We have a designated drop off area to ensure everyone's safety when the buses are dropping off and leaving. You will be asked to go to the designated drop off line. Students are to remain in the car until 7:00 am.
If you need to enter the school at any time, you will need to park in a parking space. Do not park along the side as you are blocking the passing area. This keeps the lanes open for the arrival and return of traffic. More parking is available on the middle school side.
If your child is late for school, parents are expected to park and walk their child into the school to sign them in.
Don’t forget students will be marked tardy if they arrive after 7:20 am.
If you have a concern, your teacher will get back to you either during their planning period or at the end of the day. If you have a transportation change, please call the school by 1:45 pm and notify your child’s teacher in writing of the change. There will be no early check-outs after 2:00 pm. Please wait in the office for your child.
Please be reminded that cell phones or smartwatches are not to be used during the instructional day. Smartwatches can only be used to tell time.

Buenas noches familia Cub. Este es Dr.Oates con sus recordatorios y actualizaciones de los domingos.
Nos complace anunciar que nuestra noche de preparación/transición y bingo para EOG se llevará a cabo el jueves 27 de abril de 5:30 p. m. a 7:30 p. m. Espero verte allí.
Padres de todos los alumnos de 5º grado, Cape Fear Middle School tendrá su noche de transición de 6º grado el jueves 4 de mayo.
La escuela de padres abre a las 7:00 am. Por favor, no deje a su hijo antes. El área de entrega está en la parte trasera de la escuela. Por favor, no se estacione en el frente para dejar a su hijo. Tenemos un área de descenso designada para garantizar la seguridad de todos cuando los autobuses dejan y parten. Se le pedirá que vaya a la línea de entrega designada. Los estudiantes deben permanecer en el automóvil hasta las 7:00 am.
Si necesita ingresar a la escuela en cualquier momento, deberá estacionar en un espacio de estacionamiento. No estacione a lo largo del costado ya que está bloqueando el área de paso. Esto mantiene los carriles abiertos para la llegada y el regreso del tráfico. Más estacionamiento está disponible en el lado de la escuela intermedia.
Si su hijo llega tarde a la escuela, se espera que los padres estacionen y acompañen a su hijo a la escuela para registrarlo.
No olvide que los estudiantes serán marcados tarde si llegan después de las 7:20 am.
Si tiene alguna inquietud, su maestro se comunicará con usted durante su período de planificación o al final del día. Si tiene un cambio de transporte, llame a la escuela antes de la 1:45 p. m. y notifique al maestro de su hijo por escrito sobre el cambio. No habrá salidas anticipadas después de las 14:00 horas. Por favor espere en la oficina a su hijo.
Recuerde que los teléfonos celulares o relojes inteligentes no deben usarse durante el día de instrucción. Los relojes inteligentes solo se pueden usar para decir la hora.
