Thanks to a grant from the NC Youth Outdoor Engagement Commission, students visited Hammock Beach State Park in Swansboro. Students learned about dolphin life & echolocation in Mrs. Seri's class.

At the park they received a Whales/Dolphin talk by a NC Park Ranger, took a boat cruise around the marine habitat, picked up litter as a community service project, completed a written assignment, went on a nature hike, and were sworn in as NC Junior Rangers! All in a day's work for these BMS students!!
