I started teaching in Pender County Schools in August of 2009 at Burgaw Elementary School and then transferred to BMS in August of 2014. The reason I teach at BMS is because I love the age group of our students and I love that the staff is more like a family. I love watching when my students grasp a math concept that at first they struggled with.
My husband Andy and I have been married for 35 years. Our boys, Andrew, aka Jorie, and Ronnie live in SW Florida. I love to visit them as much as I can. We also have a one year old grandson, Nash, who is the sweetest! We also have three little fur girls that we love so much! I love reading and spending time with family and our fur girls.
