DENISE POLLOCK CIMC OF THE YEAR

WIMINGTON, NC - Pender County Schools is proud to announce that Denise Pollock has been named the Curriculum & Instructional Management Coordinator (CIMC) of the Year for the Southeast Region. Ms. Pollock was recognized during the CIMC state conference luncheon in Wilmington, NC.

This marks the second time Ms. Pollock has received this honor, highlighting her ongoing commitment to excellence in CTE. As the Southeast Regional CIMC of the Year, she will advance to compete at the state level, with the winner set to be announced in July at the CTE Summer Conference.

Ms. Pollock continues to be a leader in Career and Technical Education at both the regional and state levels. She currently serves as the secretary on the state CIMC board, further contributing to the advancement of CTE initiatives. Previously, she held leadership roles as the Southeast Region CIMC President for the 2023-2024 school year and Vice President for the 2022-2023 school year.

“She has done outstanding work in Pender County and beyond, making a lasting impact on Career and Technical Education,” said Dr. Brad Breedlove, Superintendent of Pender County Schools. “Her dedication to student success and program innovation is commendable, and we are proud to have her representing our district at the state level.”
