GREENSBORO, NC - During the Career Technical Education (CTE) Director’s Conference in Greensboro, it was announced that Pender County Schools CTE is ranked as the number four district for credential attainment in North Carolina.
The conference brought together CTE professionals from across the state to discuss and celebrate the accomplishments in Career Technical Education. Overall, Pender County Schools owns an impressive 69% attainment rate. This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our CTE educators and the commitment of our students.
“While we take pride in this remarkable achievement, we also recognize that there is more work to be done,” said Dominique Bates, Pender County Schools Career Technical Education Director. “Our ultimate goal is to reach the number one spot in the state because our kids deserve it! We want to be able to say we are producing the most marketable and career ready students in the state!”
This achievement highlights the incredible opportunities and support available within our CTE programs. It is a reflection of the commitment of our educators, the enthusiasm of our students, and the strong collaboration between schools and the community.
