BURGAW, NC – Pender High School’s Karen McGowen (English Teacher) and Bevin Stokes (Career Development Coordinator) have been honored as recipients of the prestigious 2022-2023 John W. Harris Educator of Excellence Award by National Beta, a distinguished national organization that celebrates and nurtures student achievements.
These exceptional educators hail from just 68 out of over 8,500 National Beta clubs across the nation and beyond. Their dedication and hard work have truly set them apart, and they now join an elite group of individuals who have earned this distinction.
