The Operations Division can be broken down into three service areas: Facilities, Informational and Instructional Technology, and Transportation. With 19 schools to maintain, thousands of instructional technology devices, and over 1.85 million miles traveled per year, the Operations Division strives to maintain safe, clean learning environments, up-to-date digital learning and instructional delivery devices, and safe, efficient travel for all students to and from school. Our facilities staff is responsible for all of the routine maintenance and upkeep of the school district’s 22 buildings, parking lots, playgrounds, sidewalks, and landscaped areas. Additionally, as we grow this team also oversees the construction of new facilities and major renovation projects. Our technology staff maintains over 21,000 devices to ensure our students and staff have access to modern digital-learning devices and the most up-to-date instructional delivery methods available. Additionally, they manage and care for over 1,000 devices that aid in enhancing campus security and safety. Our transportation staff maintains over 110 yellow buses, 27 activity buses, and 65 fleet vehicles.
