Cape Fear Middle School will be a collaborative community that promotes safety, provides rigorous expectations, supports innovative thinkers, and prepares our students holistically. 

Goals: 

ACADEMIC: CFMS teachers will deliver standards-based, rigorous, differentiated instruction as measured by students “meeting” or “exceeding”  growth on 2023-2024 student performance data. 

CULTURE/CLIMATE: CFMS staff will partner with students, families, and the community to cultivate a safe, supportive, inclusive, and responsive environment as measured by surveys and a 95% attendance rate during the 2023-2024 school year.

HEALTH/SAFETY: CFMS will provide a student-centered, nurturing environment with a focus on Social-Emotional Learning, resulting in a decrease in threat assessments and discipline referrals for the 2023-2024 school year.

Cape Fear Middle School will be safe, inclusive, and supportive to all students, teachers, and families. Each stakeholder will be treated as both an individual and a member of a community of learners.
